The Friends of the Ohio River Greenway promote and support the Greenway, and provide a way for the public to participate.

Falls of the Ohio State Park (www.fallsoftheohio.org)
The 390 million year old fossil beds, wildlife conservation area, and interpretive center are located in the center of the Greenway corridor in Clarksville, Indiana. Check out this Indiana Department of Natural Resources website for hours of operation and year-round programming information.

The Indiana Department of Natural Resources also operates the George Rogers Clark Home Site within the Greenway corridor, where a replica cabin and overlook provide a spectacular panoramic view of the Falls of the Ohio.  General Clark was the founder of both Louisville, Kentucky and Clarksville, Indiana, and was the older brother of Captain William Clark of  Lewis & Clark Expedition fame. This area is part of the Old Clarksville Site, which is on the National Register of Historic Places https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Old_Clarksville_Site, and figured prominently in the formation of the Lewis & Clark Expedition.

Clarksville Parks & Recreation operates two parks within the Greenway corridor; Ashland Park and Lewis & Clark Bicentennial Park. Check out their website for park information and programming along the Greenway and throughout Clarksville, Indiana.

The Loop Island Wetlands (www.loopislandwetlands.com)
This 50-acre natural wetlands is within the Greenway corridor adjoining the Ohio River in New Albany, Indiana.
